SAT / ACT COLLEGE EXAMS




The Scholastic Aptitude Test which is commonly known as the SAT and the American College Test, also known as the ACT, are college entrance aptitude tests. This exam will measure a student’s proficiency in verbal skills, analytical skills, math and writing skills. Some educators believe that a student’s performance on these exams can predict their ability to handle the rigor of college course work. Success in either or both of these exams will play a significant role in college acceptance; for this reason, early preparation and familiarity with both test expectations are imperative. TEST DATES



**Waivers must be requested no later than 1 week before the regular deadline







•Sunday test dates are available for students who cannot test on Saturday because of religious convictions. See your CAP / BRACE Advisor for instructions.

•Fee Waivers: SAT / ACT fee waivers are available to high school juniors or seniors who are either on “FREE”, or “REDUCED LUNCH”. Students may receive 2 SAT I, 2 SAT II and 2 ACT test fee waivers.

•4 each SAT/ACT College Application Waivers are available to students who use SAT/ACT Test Fee Waivers.

•SAT Application waivers are found by going to your online account.

•ACT Application waivers are to be requested from the CAP / BRACE Advisor.

•See your CAP / BRACE Advisor to request these fee-waivers if you are eligible.
